  • Pavements are upgraded in natural Yorkstone slabs.
  • The crossings over Thistle Street are raised tables, bringing the road flush with the pavement, and are delineated with dark grey blister tactile paving and dropped kerbs.
  • Granite setts are shown across the junction of Thistle Street.
  • Unidirectional cycle tracks are shown on either side of Hanover Street north.  The surface is shown in black asphalt with a red stone chip.
  • Zebra crossings with dark grey blister tactile paving are shown across the cycle lane to access the bus stop and a subsequent crossing across the main road of Hanover Street north.
  • The zebra across the road is shown with Belisha Beacons. Both crossing points over the cycle track are raised table-style crossings.
  • A waiting space between the cycleway and the road is shown with a bus shelter and cycle stands.
