Dumbryden Gardens new build affordable homes
Over 100 new, energy efficient affordable homes are being delivered by us. They will be located on the previous primary school site at Dumbryden Gardens / Dumbryden Drive. These homes are a mix of social and mid-market rent. Construction is being carried out by Robertson Partnership Homes in three separate phases.
- Phase 1 – 49 homes which includes 30 social rent and 19 mid-market rent - this was completed in November 2019.
- Phase 2 – 49 homes which includes 35 social rent and 14 mid-market rent - construction started in May 2021, and will be complete in February 2023.
- Phase 3 – 8 homes for social rent - planning consent was granted in 2021 and work is currently underway to procure a contractor.
In line with the wider Council housebuilding programme, 10% of all social rent homes delivered at Dumbryden Gardens are wheelchair accessible.
Robertson Partnership Homes are also delivering a programme of community benefits across the EH14 postcode area and beyond as part of the delivery of the project.
