Healthy Little Foodies
The Healthy Little Foodies project aims to give the families of Edinburgh the knowledge and skills needed to feed their children a healthy balanced diet. The sessions run by Edinburgh Community Food early years nutrition specialist, fussy eating and all aspects of food and nutrition for babies and children.

Fussy Eating Workshop
These workshops are aimed at parents of children around 1 to 6 years old experiencing difficulties around stressful mealtimes and their child's restrictive eating behaviours. This workshop covers:
- Why do children develop fussy eating behaviours?
- Planning for a positive mealtime – what can I do in advance?
- Control and choice – getting the balance right.
- At the table – techniques to use during mealtimes.
- Appetite and portion sizes
- Talking about food – how our language plays a part.
- Early years nutrition

Cooking Groups
Edinburgh Community Food hosts cooking groups all over the city and online where members of the community get together to cook and eat healthy food and gain new skills and knowledge around eating healthy, on a budget. Sessions also run to raise awareness of topics such as Food and Health, allergies and health for carers.

Free online REHIS food hygiene courses
These courses improve skills and knowledge of food hygiene, health and allergy awareness and eating well and are useful in gaining employment.

Women Supporting Women- Outdoor Cooking Club
This drop in women’s outdoor cooking group makes lunch each week using fresh vegetables and herbs from Granton Community Garden followed by a community meal. The group is suitable for all women and mums living in Muirhouse, Wester Drylaw, West Pilton, Granton, Royston and Wardieburn, participants can either attend with their children or while they are in nursery or school.
